Xdefiant is a multiplayer FPS that pulls from various Ubisoft IPs for its maps and characters. Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Far Cry, and other popular Ubisoft brands are used for content and inspiration.

To create maps that were faithful to the original IP, we had to access the source project files and find a way to translate their geometry, textures, and materials into our engine (Snowdrop).

For the following maps, I was the Senior Enviornment Artist in charge of workflows and standards for art implementation. Using Snowdrop, I would assemble large portions of the map (laying out structures, set dressing, terrain editing, polish, and optimization). Asset creation was done in Maya and Blender. Team sizes were small, usually two or three people including myself.

The following images showcase areas where I was the primary environment artist. Lighting and particles were handled by those respective groups.
